The Visual History Archive (VHA) is a web application that provides access to the testimony videos and searchable biographical and indexing data associated with each interview. Using the VHA, researchers are able to find specific people, places, events, and experiences described in the testimonies.

In 2016, USC Shoah Foundation contracted ProQuest to be the sole distributor of the full Visual History Archive to educational institutions.

Searching for a testimony

The Visual History Archive provides an opportunity for researchers to search cataloguing and indexing data associated with nearly 55,000 testimonies. Approximately 5,000 testimony videos can be viewed online and data information can be seen for all.
