To identify footage or images

Visit a Visual History Access (VHA) site near you to view testimonies in the archive and select your footage. To search for a VHA site nearest you, please go to: https://sfi.usc.edu/locator/full_access_sites.

Some testimonies can be viewed on the Institute's VHA Online.

Footage
File Format: QuickTime Pro Res 422 (native resolution)

Files can be delivered via network or by hard drive.

COSTS
$100 per file
*$150 for hard drive (if provided by Institute)
Images
Images can be provided in JPEG or Photoshop format and delivered via email or FTP. Image quality is limited because it is being extracted from the standard definition video recordings.
$20 per image

Requests for testimony copies take approximately four weeks to complete.

Searching for a testimony

The Visual History Archive provides an opportunity for researchers to search cataloguing and indexing data associated with nearly 55,000 testimonies. Approximately 5,000 testimony videos can be viewed online and data information can be seen for all.
